The Landon Legacy
Amazing people make incredible neighbors!
In 1969, Barbara Hunt, current resident at The Landon at Lake
Highlands, became the Founder and first President of the Women’s
League. As a resident of Lake Highlands, she saw her town growing
but without a real community focus. Barbara took charge of the
situation and put together a group of women who were aware of
the needs and activities in all areas of Lake Highlands and the Lake
Highland Women’s League is still thriving today.
It’s not like home. It is home.
