The City of Irving offers a wide variety of programming and activities for adults Craft Room
ages 50 and older through the Heritage Senior Center (HSC). Built in 2003, the Gift Shop
40,000 square-foot facility is state-of-the-art.
Events
Amenities include comfortable classrooms, a sunny dining room and a PapaPalooza | $4

Getting older doesn't mean you have to slow down. Through the Irving Parks
and Recreation Department, the HSC offers plenty of fun and creative activities Wellness
to help seniors stay active. The facility's schedule is filled with fitness classes, Texercise Classic (12 Week Program)
field trips, workshops and guest speakers. Stop in for a Tuesday night dance Every Monday & Wednesday
or check out all the center's activities and services in the monthly Heritage 9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. Room A
Herald magazine.

Information Day Trips
As of July 2018 the Lewisville Senior Activity Center will temporarily be Frisco Mercantile - $12
functioning out of Music City Mall, located at 2401 S Stemmons Fwy while our Friday, June 7 at 9:45 AM – 3 PM
new multigenerational center, Thrive is being constructed. The 8,000-square-
foot site is located on the second floor of the mall, near Macy’s. Entrance 4 Lavender Ridge Farms - $36
will be used as the main entrance to the new site, and the City has worked Tuesday, June 18 at 9 AM – 2 PM
with the mall to add 10 more accessible parking spaces to the lot right outside
that entrance. Anyone coming to the site by DCTA bus will be dropped off and Bingo at Winstar Casino - $15
picked up outside Entrance 6. Thrive is expected to open in early 2020. For Friday, June 21 at 4 – 11 PM
